(originally ST Andrew’s Roof Raisers)
In 1988 a small group of people came together with the aim of performing a one-off Christmas Pantomime as a fund raiser for the St Andrew’s Church Roof Appeal of that year.
‘Treasure Island’ proved an outstanding success playing to packed audiences for five performances. Since that time the group has gone from strength to strength continuing to entertain the village community.
To date twelve pantomimes and eight musical shows have delighted local audiences with many of the original group still treading the boards, working backstage, providing the music and writing the scripts.
New members are most welcome both on stage and back stage.
